The First Visit
Upon your first visit at Dover Health Care Center, our doctors and staff will welcome you and make sure that you know exactly what to expect during your visit, so that you are as comfortable as possible.
We will begin with completing the new patient paperwork, which can be completed before you even come into the office!
The Consultation and Examination
The first visit will begins with a greeting from our staff who will help you with the paperwork and get your all set up for your initial visit. You will then experience the following:
Postural evaluation
Nervous system tests
You will then have a consultation with one of our doctor, in which the following will be discussed: your health history, your current complaints (if any), and how chiropractic can help you.
After your consultation is completed and your questions have been answered, our doctors will then perform a thorough chiropractic exam, including the following:
Orthopedic and neurological testing
Brain Based testing
X-Rays, only when necessary
Once the doctors have collected all of the necessary information, we will then set you up for your second visit, either the same day of the day after, so that you can be given your results quickly and begin care as soon as possible.

Your Second Visit
After reviewing your information and test results, we will give you a full report of our findings. You will be informed of the following:
The details of your presenting problem
How we can help you
The duration of your care plan
Insurance coverage and costs involved
We will explain everything before starting any care so you can choose to move forward feeling fully informed.
We also recommend that you bring a friend or family member along with you to this appointment, since reviewing this information is a lot to take in and having someone along can be a great help.
